The case of homicide defendant Devin Davis was delayed until June 12 after the prosecutor said she had not yet received an approved plea offer.

During reception court, before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn on July 11, Davis and his defense attorney, Andrea Jaskulsky, appeared in court and informed the judge that no offer had been received.

Davis is facing charges of first-degree murder and use of a firearm in a violent crime for a fatal shooting on the 4700 block of Gwynn Oak Avenue in July 2021. According to the prosecution, the state attorney’s office has not yet approved an offer due to a leading prosecutor’s recent surgery and subsequent hospitalization.

Davis’ hearing was re-scheduled for June 12.
