Prosecution Changes Murder Case Status to Nolle Pros

The prosecution changed the status for a case involving a 25-year-old Baltimore man accused of first-degree murder to nolle pros on May 24 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Anthony Vittoria

Darius Soloman was charged with two count of first-degree murder, use of a firearm during a violent crime, and possession of a felony conviction in connection to an incident June 25, 2021. 

Soloman was represented by defense attorney Linda Zeit. 

According to WMAR news, on June 25, 2021, around 11:20 p.m. patrol officers were called to the 1000 block of North Calvert Street for reports of a shooting, where they found 23-year-old Ishmael Davenport inside a vehicle suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. 

The victim  was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.

A preliminary investigation revealed that Davenport was parked in the 1000 block of Hunter Street when he was shot by an unidentified suspect. He then drove to the 1000 block of North Calvert Street, where he crashed his vehicle.
