Police Rule N. Eden Street Shooting Justified

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an update regarding a shooting incident. The shooting has been reclassified as “Justified” and removed from the non-fatal shooting count.

On July 2, at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital concerning a shooting victim seeking treatment.

Upon arrival at the hospital, officers found a 34-year-old male with a graze wound.

Preliminary information indicated that the victim was shot inside a residence in the unit block of N. Eden Street. Officers took two persons of interest into custody for questioning at the residence.

Central District shooting detectives responded and took control of the investigation.
