Police Respond to Shooting on Elgin Avenue

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Northwest District.

On July 16, at approximately 9:45 p.m., officers responded to the 3300 block of Elgin Avenue regarding a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 29-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his body. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Northwest District detectives have assumed control over the investigation.
