The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an investigation into a shooting incident in the Eastern District.

On July 5, at approximately 10:38 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the 2400 block of Brentwood Avenue for a reported firearm discharge.

Upon arrival, officers located a 37-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Eastern District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
