The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an investigation into a shooting incident in the Eastern District.
On Jan. 2, at approximately 5:02 p.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of N. Chapel Street following a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers discovered evidence of a crime scene.
Shortly after, a 49-year-old man arrived at a local hospital seeking treatment for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Eastern District detectives are actively investigating the incident.
