Western District Shooting Investigation
On August 23, 2026, at approximately 2:09 a.m., Baltimore Police Department Western District patrol officers responded to the 500 block of Sanford Place for a Shot Spotter alert.
Once there, officers located a 32-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he is expected to survive.
