Police Investigating After 42-Year-Old Woman Seeks Treatment for Gunshot Wound to Leg

The Baltimore Police Department announced (BPD) announced an investigation into a shooting incident in the Western District.

On April 11, at approximately 5:11 p.m. officers received a call for a shooting victim who had walked into an area hospital seeking treatment.

Upon arrival, officers located a 42-year-old woman with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to her leg.

Detectives are working to determine where the shooting occurred and what led to it.
