Police Investigating a Murder on W. Lafayette Avenue

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a murder that occurred on March 26 on West Lafayette Avenue. 

According to a news release, at approximately 1:40 a.m., police were called to the 2400 block of West Lafayette Avenue, where they found an unidentified male victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the back of the head. 

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by a Baltimore City Fire Department Medic. 

Western District homicide detectives have assumed control over the investigation.
