Officers from the northwest district responded to an area hospital after receiving a report of a shooting victim.
According to a press release, the Baltimore Police Department located a 59-year-old man sufferings from an apparent gunshot wound. The injury was non-life threatening.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot on the 3700 block of West Belvedere Avenue. A citizen transported the victim to the hospital.
The suspect has not been identified.
