Police Investigate Shooting on Ashland Avenue

Eastern District detectives are investigating an April 27 shooting that left a man with a gunshot wound in the back.

Around 4:55 p.m., officers went to the 2400 block of Ashland Avenue and were informed that a man who was shot and taken to an area hospital in a black vehicle. When the officers arrived at the hospital, they learned the man was shot in the back, according to the Baltimore Police Department.

Police said the man’s condition is unknown.
