Police Investigate Deadly Shooting in Northwest District

Northwest District Shooting Investigation On August 20, 2026, at approximately 7:42 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 3400 block of Garrison Boulevard for a lying in the street investigation.

Upon officers’ arrival at the location, they located a 47-year-old Adrian Griffin suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was transported to an area hospital listed in critical condition. The victim died at the hospital later that evening.

Northwest District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
