Police Investigate Shooting Between Roommates

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an investigation into a shooting in the Southern District.

On Nov 25, at approximately 5:30 p.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of Scott Street for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 53-year-old male victim inside a residence with multiple gunshot wounds to his shoulder and buttock. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim became involved in an altercation with his roommate, who then who shot him. The suspect then fled the location.

Southern District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.

Update: The suspect was later identified as Craig Williams, 55. The victim was later identified as his brother-in-law.
