The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Northern District.
On Aug. 24, at approximately 2:55 p.m., Northern District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
Officers located a 20-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Preliminary investigation revealed the victim was shot while in the 4400 block of Park Heights Avenue, where calls for discharging were made.
Northern District detectives are conducting the investigation.
