Police Investigate Portal Street Stabbing

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Southeast District.

On May 5, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in stabbing victim.

Officers located a 34-year-old male suffering from apparent life-threatening stab wounds. Despite medical professionals’ efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased.

Preliminary investigation revealed the victim was stabbed by an unidentified suspect while in the 1800 block of Portal Street.
