The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Northeast District.
On Dec. 8, at approximately 12:11 a.m., officers responded to the 4100 block of Eierman Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located a 46-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the left leg.
The victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in critical condition.
Northeast District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
