The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on April 19 at Oakford Avenue.
According to a news release, at approximately 8:55 p.m., police were called to the 3100 block of Oakford Avenue, where they found a 40-year-old man who had been shot in the head.
The victim was transported to Sinai hospital, where he died shortly after.
Northwest District Homicide Detectives have assumed control over the investigation.
