The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on July 19.
According to a press release, officers were called around 5:30 p.m. to the 3800 block of W. Forest Park Avenue to investigate a vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers found a 64-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to his head.
Medics took the victim to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
A preliminary investigation suggested the victim was shot while operating a motorized scooter.
