On July 22, 2026, at approximately 9:19 p.m., Baltimore Police Department Western District Officers were near the 2600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue when they heard discharging and receiving a ShotSpotter alert.
Officers located a 36-year-old female suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers provided aid to the victim and she was transported to area hospital for treatment. Despite life-saving measures, the victim was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Homicide Detectives assumed control over the investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2100.
