The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an investigation into a Jan. 1 shooting at the American Wings & Pizza carry-out restaurant in Charles Village.
On Jan. 1, at approximately 10:18 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
Officers located a 47-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Officers learned the victim was shot during the course of an attempted commercial armed robbery at the restaurant, which is located in the 2400 block of Saint Paul Street.
Update: According to a report by The Baltimore Sun, police are searching for 44-year-old suspect Christopher Brigerman.
