Police Investigate 2 Separate Shootings Within An Hour

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating two non-fatal shootings in less than an hour on Dec. 28.

According to a news release, police responded to the first shooting shortly before 10 a.m. on Tuesday on the 3700 block of Gwynn Oak Avenue where they found a 45-year-old man with a gunshot wound.

Police said the victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.

A second separate shooting was reported around 10:40 a.m. on the 1400 block of Myrtle Avenue where police saw a vehicle speeding away. Police said they followed the vehicle to the hospital and found a 30-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds.

He is also expected to survive.
