The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Central District.
On Jul. 29, 2025, at approximately 10:03 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of St. Matthews Street regarding a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, officers found a 41-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the leg.
Preliminary information indicated that the victim was shot in the 700 block of E. Chase Street by an unknown suspect. Central District Shooting Detectives arrived at the scene and took over the investigation.
