Police Find Shooting Victim on Lafayette Avenue, Seek Information

On Sept. 13, at approximately 11:09 p.m., Western District patrol officers were called to the 900 block of North Bentalou Street for a report of a shooting.

Once in the area, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 22-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound on the 2300 block of Lafayette Avenue.

The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.

The exact location of the shooting has not been determined.

District detectives from the Western and Northwest District are investigating this incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
