On Aug. 19 the Baltimore Police Department released two videos of two officer-involved shootings.

The first officer-involved shooting, occurring during the early morning hours on Aug. 9 on the 6000 block of Alta Avenue, was fatal.

According to information released through a press release and a press conference, police were called to a residence after receiving reports that an individual was armed.

SWAT was called to the scene.

Once on the scene, an officer, as shown in the footage, talks to two females, a teenager and an older woman, who were inside the residence. Both females told officers that Martin, 40, assaulted them.

The footage shows Martin not wanting to leave the residence. According to police, he was in possession of six weapons.

Police say five of the six were registered in his name.

Approximately six hours after officers responded to the scene, Martin shot outside of the home and was then shot and killed by a SWAT officer, Jerry Archambault.
