Police Arrest Teen Suspected in Non-Fatal Shooting

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced the arrest of a 15-year-old male suspect in connection with the shooting that occurred in the 300 block of South Macon Street on May 19.

Southeast District detectives obtained an arrest warrant for the teenager, who is linked to the shooting of a 16-year-old male victim.

The 15-year-old suspect sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound during the incident and was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility after being released from an area hospital.

The suspect has been charged as an adult with attempted first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and handgun violations.
