Police Arrest Teen Attempted Murder Suspect

In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Eastern District on May 2, 2023, Baltimore Police Department investigators have arrested 18-year-old Isiah Peay of Baltimore.

Investigators learned that Peay shot the 21-year-old male victim while on the 1800 block of North Chapel Street.

An arrest warrant was obtained for Peay on March 8, and hours later, detectives located him standing on the 3200 block of Belair Road.

Detectives transported Isiah Peay to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.

On May 2, 2023, at approximately 12:35 p.m., officers were patrolling near the 1800 block of North Washington Boulevard when they heard gunfire coming from the rear alley.

Once officers arrived, they located an unidentified adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. This victim was transported to an area hospital and listed in stable condition.
