The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced the arrest of Idris Malik Ramos, 51, in connection to a Central District homicide that occurred on June 21.
Ramos is charged with fatally stabbing Tyrell John Curtis, 39, in the 100 block of S. Broadway.
Investigators determined that an altercation between Ramos and Curtis led to the stabbing.
On June 23, patrol officers apprehended Ramos without incident. He was transported to the Central Booking & Intake Facility and formally charged with first- and second-degree murder and assault, as well as reckless endangerment.
