Central District Homicide Arrest In reference to the homicide that occurred in the Central District, Homicide detectives have arrested 36-year-old James Fitzsimmons of Parkville, Maryland.
Fitzsimmons was arrested in connection with the murder of 37-year-old James Britt of Baltimore. Britt was pulled from the water in the 300 block of Lancaster Street.
Homicide detectives learned that the two men were involved in a physical altercation when Fitzsimmons pushed Britt into the water as Britt retreated from Fitzsimmons.
James Fitzsimmons was taken into custody and transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with second-degree murder.
