Two Baltimore residents are facing attempted murder charges in connection to a shooting in July.

The first alleged shooter, 28-year-old Antone Towson, was arrested on Sept. 12, followed by the arrest of 18-year-old Tyree Reynolds on Sept. 27, the Baltimore Police Department reported.

Around 12:30 a.m. on July 8, officers were called to the 3100 block of West North Avenue for reports of a shooting, a news release states. While police collected evidence and searched for potential victims, witnesses, and suspects, Towson and Reynolds reportedly walked into nearby hospitals to treat gunshot wounds.

Once police identified Towson and Reynolds as the alleged shooters, they obtained arrest warrants. Both men are charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and four firearm-related charges.

Towson and Reynolds are currently being held at Central Booking, with preliminary hearings scheduled on Oct. 7 and Oct. 28, respectively, in Baltimore City District Court, according to the Maryland Judiciary website.
