Travis Jawaun Turner, 36, appeared before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa Copeland on Sept. 29 for a plea hearing.
According to court documents, Turner is charged with first- and second degree assault, conspiracy to commit assault, along with several firearm charges in his alleged connection to a non-fatal shooting that occurred May 24.
The prosecution offered 25 years for first-degree assault, 25 years concurrent for a firearm used in a felony or violent crime, with an additional 15 years consecutive for firearm possession with a felony conviction.
Turner rejected the offer. The prosecutor filed a joinder motion to try the case with co-defendant Tremar Turner on Nov. 2 before Judge Lawrence Fletcher-Hill.
