Plea Offer Awaits Pending Investigation

Attempted murder defendant Deon Hudson has not been offered a plea because prosecutors say the investigation against him is ongoing.

On Nov. 7, Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Charles J Peters scheduled a trial for the 28-year-old suspect on Feb. 26, 2024, before Judge Melissa M. Phinn

Hudson, who is represented by Matthew Connell, is charged with first-degree attempted murder, second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, use of a firearm in a felony violent crime, carrying a handgun and discharging a firearm within Baltimore City in connection to a June 22 incident.

According to details from a Baltimore Police Department press release, Hudson is charged with shooting a victim on the 200 block of South Monroe Street.
