Pedestrian Killed in Northern District Accident

On Oct. 1, at approximately 3:58 p.m., Northern District patrol officers responded to the 4600 block of N. Charles Street to investigate an accident involving a pedestrian. 

Once at the location, Baltimore Police Department officers located an unidentified female victim struck by a vehicle. The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. A short time later, despite medical efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased by hospital staff. Detectives are interviewing the driver of the striking vehicle. 

The Auto Investigation Unit detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
