On March 7, at approximately 4:41 p.m., Metro Mobile Units were patrolling in the area of the 1800 block of Orleans Street when they observed a vehicle traveling on the 1800 block of Orleans Street that appeared to have extensive damage to the vehicle.

Baltimore Police Department officers attempted a vehicle stop on the damaged vehicle. Upon stopping the vehicle, the driver exited the vehicle, and officers observed the driver, a 23-year-old male, suffering from a non-life-threatening graze wound.

Due to their proximity to an area hospital, officers assisted the victim into the area hospital where he was receiving treatment for his injury.

Southeast District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
