Officers Seek Answers in Fatal Pedestrian Hit-and-Run on East Saratoga Street

On May 7, at approximately 5:54 p.m., Central District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 300 block of East Saratoga Street, for a report of a pedestrian involved crash.

Once there, officers located a 54-year-old male and an unidentified adult male, both who had been struck by a vehicle.

Medics transported both victims to area hospitals where the unidentified adult male was pronounced dead by doctors.

Preliminary investigation revealed that an unidentified  driver of an SUV, drove up onto the curb, hitting the two victims. The driver of that vehicle then parked the SUV and fled the location on foot.

Crash Team investigators are investigating this incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact investigators at 410-396-2606.
