Central District homicide detectives for the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) are investigating the murder of a 30-year-old male on Dec. 29.
On Thursday, at approximately 4:05 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Mulberry Street and North Greene Street to investigate a reported shooting.
When officers arrived at the location, they observed Lattimore Thompson suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center by ambulance. Hospital medical personnel pronounced the victim dead shortly after arrival.
Detectives learned that the suspect and victim had a physical altercation. The suspect shot the victim and fled. The suspect is described as a heavy-set male.
