Officers Report Shooting Homicide on Pennsylvania Avenue

On May 20, at approximately 12:20 a.m., Central District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue to investigate a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed an unresponsive 32-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where despite life-saving measures, he was later pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
