On April 9, at approximately 11:40 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers for the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 300 block of South Beechfield Avenue for a report of a shooting.
Once there, officers located a 40-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died.
