Officers Open Investigation into Victim Shot in the Back on Dulaney Street

On April 23, at approximately 6:53 p.m., Southwest District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) were patrolling the 2600 block of Wilkens Avenue when a driver of a vehicle flagged them down. The driver advised there is a gunshot victim inside the vehicle.

Officers then observed a 29-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the back. The victim was transported to an area hospital by a medic and listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was on the 2600 block of Dulaney Street when he was shot by a known suspect.
