Officers Open Investigation into Shooting of Six People in Northern District

On June 16, at approximately 8:47 p.m., officers were conducting a car stop near the area of the 4600 block York Road when they heard discharging.

Officers canvassed the area and discovered three male victims near the intersection of East Cold Spring Lane and York Road, all suffering from numerous non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to their bodies.

Medics transported the three victims on the scene to area hospitals for treatment of their injuries.

Officers were then notified that three additional victims had walked into area hospitals suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

The victim’s ages and genders are as follows:

A 17-year-old male, two 22-year-old males, a 26-year-old male, an 18-year-old male and a 32-year-old female.

Northern District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
