Officers Investigate Aiken Street Murder

On Dec. 15, at approximately 5:35 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 1800 block of Aiken Street to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 26-year-old Marvin Jackson suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to Johns Hopkins Hospital where, despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
