On Jan. 16, at approximately 6:47 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers were patrolling the area of Belair Road and Mayfield Avenue when they were approached by a victim who stated he was shot on the 3200 block of Harwell Avenue.
The victim, a 17-year-old male, sustained an apparent gunshot wound to the face. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Eastern District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Eastern District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2433.
