Officers Arrest Two Teens and Charge with Attempted Murder for Shooting into Group of Kids

Detectives with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) have arrested a 16-year-old male and 17-year-old male in connection with a double shooting that occurred on Jan. 6 in the 1100 block of Cambria Street.

Investigators learned that, striking a 16-year-old male and 17-year-old female.

On the day of the incident, at approximately 2:07 p.m., both suspects shot into a group of kids without warning.

Upon arrival, Southern District officers located the male victim who had been shot in the right ankle, and the female victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound to her lower left back. Both victims were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

On Jan. 11, detectives arrested the 16-year-old male suspect and on Feb. 3, detectives arrested the 17-year-old male suspect.

Both suspects are currently being held at Central Booking Intake Facility where they were both charged with attempted first-degree murder.
