On June 12, at approximately 5:50 a.m., the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force members arrested 19-year-old Cameron Cunningham of Baltimore on the 1500 block of North Forest Park Avenue.
Detectives believe that Cunningham shot a 27-year-old female on May 26, on the 3400 block of Old Frederick Road.
Detectives transported Cameron Cunningham to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder and various handgun violations.
On the day of the incident, at approximately 7:13 p.m., officers responded to the 3400 block of Old Frederick Road to investigate a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers observed the victim suffering from a graze wound to her head. Medics responded and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Southwest District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
