Officers Arrest Suspect in Normal Avenue Non-Fatal Shooting Investigation

In reference to a shooting that occurred on April 21, in the Eastern District, detectives with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) have arrested 26-year-old Terrell Michael Parker of Baltimore.

Investigators learned that Parker shot the 23-year-old male victim while on the 1600 block of Normal Avenue following a dispute.

On May 6, investigators arrested Parker, who is a repeat offender, and transported him to Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with attempted first-degree murder.

On the day of the incident, at approximately 5:13 p.m., Eastern District officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Normal Avenue to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

When officers arrived, they located a 23-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. The victim was transported to an area hospital by medics and listed in critical condition.
