Officers Arrest Suspect in January Murder on Pennsylvania Avenue

On March 16, at approximately 6:00 a.m., members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force arrested a 16-year-old male at a residence on the 5700 block of Radecke Avenue.

On March 31, at approximately 5:00 a.m., members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force (CARFTF) arrested a second suspect, a 15-year-old male, in a residence on the 3700 block of Campfield Road in Baltimore County.

Investigators believe that both suspects shot 23-year-old Mya Morton on Jan. 28, on the 1700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue at Laurens Street.

Detectives transported both suspects to the Central Booking Intake Facility where they have been charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
