Officers Arrest Suspect in Clifton Park Terrace Shooting Homicide Investigation

On July 8, at approximately 5:04 p.m., officers responded to a residence on the 2800 block of Clifton Park Terrace to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified female, later identified as 52-year-old Cynceray Washington-Greene, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics transported her to John Hopkins Hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives were notified and responded to the scene.

A male suspect, later identified as 56-year-old Neil Cole-El, was located at a residence on the 2800 block of Clifton Park Terrace and taken into custody. After interviewing Cole-El, detectives believe that Cole-El shot and killed Washington-Greene.

Detectives transported Cole-El to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, various handgun violations, and additional charges.
