Officers Arrest 14-Year-Old Suspect in T-Mobile Robbery Turned Homicide Case

As it pertains to the murder of 23-year-old Fabian Sanchez Gonzalez, a second suspect, a 14-year-old male has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder.

That suspect is now in Central Booking where he is officially being charged.

Homicide detectives are seeking no more suspects in this case.  Still, anyone with information about this murder is asked to call detectives at 410-396-2100.

On April 30, at approximately 6:20 p.m., Gonzalez was shot as a result of a robbery gone bad while he was working at the T-Mobile store located in the 2500 block of Boston Street.

Gonzalez was transported Johns Hopkins at Bayview where despite doctors efforts, he died two days later.

Southeast district shooting detectives would quickly identify two suspects and soon after, turn the investigation over to homicide detectives.

Homicide detectives obtained an arrest warrant, charging at least one suspect with first-degree murder.

On May 4, at approximately 12:15 p.m., members of the Warrant Task Force arrested 18-year-old Arthur McCaden on the 5200 block St. Charles Avenue, without incident. McCaden was transported to the Homicide Section at Police Headquarters, and then to Central Booking where he is being booked and charged.
