Eastern detectives for the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) have assumed control of the investigation of a homicide that occurred on Feb. 14.
On Tuesday, at approximately 8:05 p.m., an officer was in the area of Belair Road and Sinclair Lane when he heard discharging.
The officer responded to the location where he heard the discharging coming from, the 1900 block of East North Avenue, and located an 18-year-old Dionte Williams suffering from gunshot wounds.
Baltimore City medics responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
