Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland scheduled an Oct. 1 trial date for 18-year-old defendant Davion Foreman during a reception court hearing on June 6.

Foreman is charged with first-degree murder, felony firearm use, possession of a firearm as a minor, and having a handgun on his person in connection to a Nov. 11, 2024 shooting that occurred in the 800 block of N. Wolfe Street.

Officers were dispatched to the location for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they located 28-year-old Kierra Tripp face-down and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the face. Tripp was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to charging documents, Tripp and Foreman were attending a party at this location.

Witnesses identified Foreman as the person who allegedly shot and killed Tripp through photos. Foreman was taken into custody on Dec. 5, 2024.

Foreman’s trial will begin on Oct. 30 and last through Nov. 4 before Judge Sylvester B. Cox.
