Northwest District Officers Looking for Answers in Belvieu Avenue Homicide

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) is investigating a homicide that occurred in the early morning of Jan. 27.

On Friday, at approximately 12:42 a.m., Northwest District officers were dispatched to the 3900 block of Belvieu Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

When officers arrived at the location, they observed 23-year-old Brandon Berry suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead by medical personnel at the scene.

Homicide investigators assumed control over the investigation. Anyone who has information about this incident is urged to contact detectives at 410-396-2100.
